Launches Arizona Issues Statewide Tour AZSEN

@JeffFlake PHOENIX – This week Jeff Flake begins an Arizona issues tour to discuss the unique and pressing challenges facing the state, such as protecting Arizona’s forests, defending our access to reliable energy, preserving state mining rights, and rescuing Arizona from unworkable federal dust regulations, just to name a few.
"The Obama Administration has broken with the balanced approach to the environment andrural economy that characterized Arizona’s first century and has pivoted to a public lands agenda that will make it difficult for rural Arizona to survive, let alone experience economic growth,” said Flake."I hope to start a dialogue on these issues and ensure that they receive the attention they deserve in the coming months. We must ensure that Arizona remains a place that is both prosperous and pristine.”

Jeff Flake is a fifth-generation Arizonan running for the United States Senate. Raised on a ranch in Snowflake, Jeff understands and appreciates the importance of our state’s many unique issues. In Congress, he’s worked with Senators Kyl and McCain to protect our state’s natural resources and economic interests, and that will be a priority of his in the Senate.

Over the next few days, Flake’s Arizona Issues Tour will include town halls, roundtable discussions and conference calls in Phoenix,Tucson, Show Low, Sierra Vista, Page, Douglas, Globe, Prescott, Flagstaff, Safford, Yuma, and Nogales, as well in Mohave County.
