On the same day the Democrats kick off their convention in Charlotte, the national debt is set to hit the grim milestone of $16 trillion for the first time in our nation’s history.
Keep in mind that Richard Carmona is supporting President Barack Obama’s re-election and has committed himself to supporting Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader – the same people who pushed through a wasteful stimulus program, rammed through a government takeover of our health care system that is set to cost more than $1 trillion, and have no real plan to fix our financial mess.
The very folks who have helped push our national debt to the brink are the very folks Carmona wants to remain in power.
Carmona is skipping the DNC this week with the hope that folks will forget all of this – rest assured on the very same day our debt hits $16 trillion, we are not going to allow that to happen.
