VIDEO Ron Barber Demonizes Doctors As "over Paid." AZ02

Watch Ron Barber blame doctors, or as he puts it "health care providers," for health care costs going up. The media ignored it. He lied when said Medicare isn't going to be slashed by $716 billion. It is. Doctors aren't going to be reimbursed at the current Medicare rates, which are already less than regular patients. Good luck finding a doctor to accept Medicare patients. They won't be able to afford it.
Watch around 8:38 to see him lie about Medicare and say doctors and providers are overpaid. Call him out!

Barber Uses Devastating Defense Cuts As"Weapon” in His Party’s Tax-Increasing Agenda

Washington Democrats Threaten Devastating Military Cuts Because They Refuse to on Families and Job Creators

WASHINGTON --- Across-the-board cuts would severely threaten our national security but Ron Barber and his Democrat leaders have already voted to use them as a political pawn so they can get the job-destroying tax hikes they want (Roll Call , 8/1/2012). Barber and his party are doing everything to distract voters and increase their reelection chances, from denying that the cuts will happen to offering defense contractors incentives to break the law and not hand out pink slips days before the election.

clerk.house.gov/evs/2012/roll545.xml
"It’s troubling that Ron Barber and his party leaders would use the health of our national security as a ‘weapon’ just so they can continue their reckless spending addiction,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay."Arizona families and small business owners do not want these devastating defense cuts and can’t afford more taxes just so Ron Barber can continue spending their tax dollars.”

In the third presidential debate, President Obama attempted to distract from the Democrats’ job-destroying policies after the election:
"’First of all, the sequester is not something that I proposed. It’s something that Congress has proposed. It will not happen. The budget that we’re talking about is not reducing our military spending, it’s maintaining it,’ [said Obama].” (“Remarks by the President and Governor Romney in the Third Presidential Debate,” The White House, 10/23/2012) www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/10/23/rem...ebate

In truth, Democrat leaders see devastating defense cuts as a"weapon” in their efforts to increase taxes:
"‘That may be the only way to bring some Republicans into a position of talking,’ Sen. Richard J. Durbin of Illinois, the assistant Democratic leader, said late last week. ‘We're not going to unload our weapons at this point.’” (Lisa Mascaro,"Congressional Democrats Dig In on Fiscal Cliff Scenario,” Los Angeles Times, 7/16/2012) www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-cong...story

Indeed, the very idea of sequestration originated with Democrats:
"The book ‘The Price of Politics,’ by Washington Post Associate Editor Bob Woodward, makes it clear the idea for the draconian spending cuts originated in the White House – and not in Congress.” (Austin Wright,"Bob Woodward Book Could Bolster Republican Attack on W.H.,” Politico, 9/7/2012)

Washington Democrats tried to downplay sequester by requesting that defense contractors"hold off on layoff warnings.” (Jeanne Sahadi,"White House to Contractors: Hold Off on Layoff Warnings,” CNN, 9/28/2012)

New Report Ron Barber's Healthcare Takeover Has Already Destroyed 30,000 Jobs and Cost $27.6 Billion in Regulations AZ02

ObamaCare Isn’t Even Fully Implemented and It’s Already Devastating the Economy

WASHINGTON --- A new study reveals that the regulations in Ron Barber's government takeover of healthcare have cost almost $28 billion and destroyed 30,000 jobs. ObamaCare is set to go into full implementation in 2014 and this report confirms what American families and small business owners’ fear – that its costs on our economy will only get more severe.
"The burdens of Ron Barber's healthcare overhaul are costing Arizona much-needed jobs and making healthcare more costly for families,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay."With 30,000 jobs already lost and $27.6 billion in costs to job creators, how much worse will ObamaCare’s impact have to get before Barber realizes it’s destroying any chance for economic recovery?”

Ron Barber voted to keep ObamaCare and its job-destroying regulations the law of the land. (Roll Call , 7/11/2012)

A new study exposes the heavy burdens ObamaCare has had on our economy, raising questions about how much worse they will be after the law is fully implemented:
"Fully implementing Obamacare regulations have already cost the U.S. economy $27.6 billion and more than 18,000 jobs according to a new study released today. Just the top ten most expensive regulations have cost $24.4 billion, according to the new non-partisan and independent American Action Forum (AAF) report.” (Conn Carroll,"Study: Obamacare regs have cost $27.6 billion, killed 30,000 jobs,” The Washington Examiner, 10/9/2012)

Arizona Middle Class ‘Buried’ Under Ron Barber's Toxic Policies, Define Success as Not Falling Behind. AZ02

Debilitating Uncertainty Has Arizona Workers Fearing Fate of Future Generations

WASHINGTON --- A recent survey highlights how middle class families believe they are"struggling to advance” under President Obama’s failed economy. This comes as no surprise as even Vice President Joe Biden admitted on the campaign trail that Ron Barber's big-government policies have"buried” Arizona families and small business owners in unacceptably high unemployment, leaving them with little faith in the direction of the economy.
"Ron Barber won’t get government out of the way of economic growth and Arizona workers are suffering for it,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay."Arizonans are finished with funding Barber's taxing, spending and borrowing policies that are ruining any opportunity for growing the economy.”

In a new report, middle class families are"struggling to advance” under Washington Democrats’ leadership:
"A majority of Americans now define success as not falling behind. They worry that fundamental changes in the economy are making it more difficult for them—and their children—to get ahead.” (Ronald Brownstein,"Struggling to Advance,” National Journal, 9/28/2012)

Vice President Biden admitted what the American middle class already knew – that his party has"buried” them in economic hardships:
"’This is deadly earnest. How they can justify ... raising taxes on the middle class that has been buried the last four years?’ [said Biden].” (Patricia Zengerle,"Biden: U.S. Middle Class ‘Buried the Last Four Years,’” Reuters, 10/2/2012)

Martha McSally to Newsmax Ron Barber Epitomizes ‘Divisiveness’ in Congress in AZ02

By Todd Beamon and John Bachman

www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/McSally-Arizona-Congress...bBZLZ

Arizona congressional candidate Martha McSally tells Newsmax.TV that Democratic Rep. Ron Barber’s description of the GOP as a"bunch of white guys” epitomizes the divisiveness that has paralyzed Congress.
"He prides himself on being civil and not a politician — and he gets to Washington, D.C., and within a couple of months, he’s coming up with a divisive, name-calling, stereotyping rhetoric that we’re seeing,” McSally says in an exclusive interview."This is not helpful right now and it’s not what the American people are looking for — and it’s certainly not what the people of southern Arizona are looking for.
"He’s immediately become a politician, and he’s just starting with the divisiveness,” she added."This isn’t solving the problems that are facing our country right now. This is not solving our debt. This is not getting our economy going again. It’s not putting people back to work, and it’s just not helpful.”

McSally, a Republican, is a retired Air Force colonel who has flown over Iraq and Afghanistan. She was the first American woman to pilot combat missions.

Barber won a special election in June to complete the term of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who suffered a head wound when a gunman opened fire on her and killed six other people in January 2011.

A Giffords aide, Barber was also shot and wounded in the incident.

In a meeting this week with the editorial board of the Arizona Daily Star, Barber said he is a Democrat because the party fights for the disenfranchised and represents a cross-section of ethnicities and religions, while Republicans are a"bunch of white guys.”

McSally was in the session.
"Honestly, I was very shocked,” she said."I was literally right next to him going, ‘Are you kidding me?’ I’m your Republican opponent — and here I am a woman who is a retired military officer.
"This is exactly the kind of divisiveness that everybody’s frustrated with. So I called him on it right there in the room.”

She believes her military experience will hold her in great stead on Capitol Hill.
"What we need right now is leadership, and what we need right now are people that have more courage, that are going to knuckle down and solve our problems, get things done, bring teams of people together. That’s what you learn how to do in the military, and that’s certainly what the people of my district are looking for.
"It’s about leadership,” she added."It’s about somebody’s who’s got the experience, the education and the guts to be able to solve the problems that are facing us — and my service to my country has trained me for that.”

McSally said she was heartened by the large number of Republican women running for Congress.
"We are better off when we have a fabric of what America represents represented in Congress to serve and fight for the people. What we need are people who are qualified, capable, thoughtful, and who bring leadership — and these other gals and myself, in addition to a number of the men that are running, are going to bring that this year.”

Martha McSally's Statement on Today's Jobs Report AZ02

Tucson, AZ - The Bureau of Labor Statistics today released their August Jobs Report showing United States employers added just 96,000 jobs with nearly 400,000 Americans giving up their job search. Due to the high number of workers leaving the workforce in August, the unemployment rate dipped to 8.1% from 8.3%.

Martha McSally's comment on the August jobs report and the overall state of the United States Economy:

"It's time to pick principle over politics. It's time to stop the divisive nature of attack first and then work for the people second. And, right now in Washington, politics is taking priority over people and principle. I intend to change that in Congress. It is not acceptable to spend $821 billion of our tax dollars on a wasteful stimulus that has done nothing to stimulate job growth and has only served to stimulate the growth in our national debt and growth in our government. It is not acceptable for Congress to continue to create and perpetuate uncertainty in our economic future, which disincentives businesses from hiring and consumers from spending. We need a new direction. That direction is by unleashing the power of the American entrepreneur through lowering burdensome regulations on small businesses making it easier for our neighbors and friends to open or expand their businesses. And we need to practice a little self restraint in government - we need to stop the borrowing, spending and waste coming out of Washington. Only then will we see job growth and only then will the workers of America get back to work. And I promise the people of Southern Arizona, that I will not stop until we make meaningful reforms to get you working and growing again."
