Gabriela Saucedo Mercer to debate at Pima Community College West Campus. AZ03

TUCSON, AZ – The office of Gabriela Saucedo Mercer is extending an invitation to the public to attend the CD3 Debate on Tuesday, October 9 from 6-8pm in the Proscenium Theater located in the West Campus of Pima Community College located at 2202 W. Anklam Road in Tucson.

The debate is being sponsored by Pima Community College, League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Arizona Public Media will also be participating in the event.

Christopher Conover of KUAT has been chosen as the moderator.

Rep. Quayle Responds to Disappointing Jobs Report AZ03

PHOENIX (AZ) – Congressman Ben Quayle released the following statement on the August national unemployment report.

"We keep hearing from this President that the robust economic recovery he promised is right around the corner; that we just need to be patient. Yet again, however, we have a jobs report that came in below expectations, and yet again the unemployment rate only dropped as a result of hundreds of thousands of frustrated workers leaving the workforce.

"This President's economic policies are an utter failure by any reasonable measure. The President must change course right away. Millions of unemployed Americans should not continue to suffer because of his stubborn adherence to failed policy"
