VIDEO Rep Trent Franks Remembers Ronald Reagan, Introduces "Reagan Resolution"
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On the 102nd anniversary of Ronald Reagan's birth, Congressman Trent Franks (AZ-08) today briefly spoke from his Capitol Hill office about one of his first memories of Ronald Reagan and about the values Republicans can still learn from Reagan's leadership. Franks also introduced a "Reagan resolution" (H.Res. 56) celebrating the life of Ronald Reagan and chronicling some of the many significant milestones and achievements in his life, including his strengthening of American national defense, his work in developing our current national ballistic missile defense system, his bold reassertion of American freedom and exceptionalism, and his considerable role in the defeat of Soviet communist totalitarianism

Spending IS the PROBLEM! Obama Wants A Credit Card To Raise The Debt Ceiling; Will @RepSinema Give It To Him?
It’s Time For Sinema To Tell President Obama That We Need To Cut Spending.
WASHINGTON – At yesterday’s press conference, President Obama insisted that Congress blindly raise the debt ceiling without any corresponding spending cuts.
Obama is hoping that his Washington allies like Kyrsten Sinema will continue to rubberstamp his failed policies that are bankrupting the country.
"Kyrsten Sinema has backed President Obama on his irresponsible policies that created this fiscal mess,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek."Now will she also give the president a platinum credit card so he can raise the debt ceiling without cutting any spending?”
Sinema and her Washington allies in the House need to stand up to President Obama and tell him that our country has a spending problem. Tell them to sign our petition at www.nrcc.org/spending. (www.nrcc.org/spending)
Yesterday, President Obama Refused To Negotiate On Raising The Nation’s Debt Ceiling."Chuck, what I'm saying to you is that there is no simpler solution, no ready, credible solution other than Congress either give me the authority to raise the debt ceiling or exercise the responsibility that they have kept for themselves and raise the debt ceiling. Because this is about paying your bills. Everybody here understands this. I mean, this is not a complicated concept.” (President Barack Obama, Press Conference, 1/14/13 www.nytimes.com/2013/01/14/us/politics/full-transc...;_r=0)
In A Meeting With Speaker John Boehner, President Obama Said Our Country Doesn’t Have A Spending Problem."‘At one point several weeks ago,” Mr. Boehner says,"the president said to me, ‘We don't have a spending problem.’” (Stephen Moore, The Education Of John Boehner, The Wall Street Journal, 1/6/13 online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142412788732348250457...tweet)

Do the Math All The Platinum In The World Still Couldn’t Pay Off The Obama-Sinema Debt - SpendingIsTheProblem.
It’s Time For Kyrsten Sinema To Sign The NRCC Petition Telling President Obama That Spending Is The Problem
WASHINGTON – Heard of that trillion-dollar platinum coin Democrats want? Well, even if you took literally every single ounce of platinum in the world, it still wouldn’t add up to enough needed to pay down our nation’s debt. Yet President Obama and Washington Democrats like Kyrsten Sinema continue to support policies that bankrupt our country.
It’s time for Sinema to sign the National Republican Congressional Committee’s petition and tell President Obama that we don’t need trillion-dollar coins – we need to cut spending. The petition can be found at www.nrcc.org/spending.
"Washington Democrats believe our country’s fiscal mess can be saved by minting magic coins,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek."Kyrsten Sinema and her liberal allies are bankrupting our country. It’s time for Sinema to tell President Obama and Nancy Pelosi that spending is the problem.”

Rep. Greg Walden Introduced A Bill To Banning The Creation Of Trillion-Dollar Platinum Coins."Lawmakers are still positioning themselves for a debt ceiling fight in a few months, but one Republican congressman wants to snuff out a particular idea immediately: the U.S. Treasury minting $1 trillion platinum coins to avert a debt ceiling showdown. Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.) has introduced a bill to specifically ban President Barack Obama from minting the coins.” (Bobby Cervantes,"Greg Walden's Bill Bans Minting $1T Coin,” Politico, 1/7/13)
